Chapter One- Part 1

Alexander never asked to be given his lot in life; most people don't. But with all that life has thrown at him- including the death of his parents and all three of his brothers, as well as the war the world has been facing for generations- he's gotten pretty tough. When he's presented with the opportunities to do something about his life and the state of the world, he starts to tell the universe that he doesn't want to. As much as he doesn't want to give up, everything feels hopelessly out of his control. His friends and his sister jump to do something, convincing him that when you can do something good, it's better to try than not do anything at all. Upon finding out things that change their perspectives and make them rethink everything they thought about the world, some are not sure how to keep going, while others want to keep pushing forward. Alexander decides that he's ready to do whatever it takes to make it difference. No matter the cost.
