Maddie has been in foster care ever since she can remember. She only knows one true fact about her life: she was almost aborted. She survived the abortion, but she's deformed, because of the procedure. Being different than most people gives her a lot of stares, but not near as many when she is adopted by Jennifer Lawrence.
