While pursuing a target deep in an unmarked forest, Illumi Zoldyck discovers a strange brass ring brimming with ancient Nen. Upon touching it, he's ripped from his world and thrown into another-one with no Nen and a bizarre yellow creature threatening to destroy the Earth. Stranded and under watch, Illumi must blend in as a "teacher" while unraveling the mystery behind the ring, the classroom, and his new role in a world that makes less and less sense by the second.
