Au: Where John finds out that Sherlock fakes his death a few months after the Reichenbach Fall. When John receives a message of his best friend's return he can't help to think that this is all some sort of wishful thinking. Once he realizes how urgent this message is, he decides that Sherlock's so called last mission; in hopes of taking down Moriarty may be more important than he realizes. Will he and Sherlock be able to make amends, will John's heart continue to be broken? or will they both discover something that goes a little bit deeper than friendship? I do not own any of these characters, all rights to go the original author of Sherlock and the creators of the tv show BBC Sherlock. This is my first fanfic, so it's def not going to be perfect.
