Shadow had always been stoic, aloof, and never dependent. However, after a certain rosy hedgehog entered his life, things began to look up for him! But after an...incident... he is transformed into a legitimate hedgehog! Now searching for a way to return to normal, his plans with "Rose" seem to be on hold. Amy, being rejected by Sonic for the last time, is on the search for new adventures, passions, and romance. After turning a new leaf, she encounters a certain black and red hedgehog on her way home. They quickly become good friends if she dared to say so herself, until one day, apparently not after he ghosts her! How rude. On one of her missions, she finds a black and red hedgehog injured. Finding it closely resembling Shadow, she decides a pet may just be the thing to take her mind off Sonic and another particular hedgehog. Little does she know who this petite hedgehog truly is.
