Synopsis

This is the story of Hannah and Kei-of second chances, unspoken pain, and the kind of love that lingers even after goodbye.

Hannah has sickle cell disease, a condition that shaped much of her childhood and led her to make painful decisions-including walking away from Kei, the boy who once promised he'd never leave her side. "It's not that I stopped loving you," she had whispered then, "it's that I loved you enough to let you go."

Years later, fate brings them together again at university. Hannah, quiet and determined, becomes the manager of the men's volleyball team for her scholarship. She never expected to see Kei again-let alone as the team captain. Kei, older now but still carrying the weight of her absence, is stunned. "You disappeared," he says, not accusing, just aching. "And I waited anyway."

As practices stretch into late evenings and old routines resurface, so do buried feelings. Kei starts noticing how Hannah hides her pain behind clipped answers and an ever-present water bottle. He remembers the hospital visits, the quiet sobs, the strength it took for her to pretend she was fine.

"I never stopped caring, Hannah" Kei admits one night after practice. "Not even when you vanished."

But as their connection deepens, so do the stakes. Hannah's condition is unpredictable, and the question lingers: Can she afford to let Kei in again? And will love be enough to face what lies ahead?
