Trick Up Your Sleeve

What if Odysseus was...curious, about the Princess of Troy somehow catching onto his plan even if nobody listened to her? What if he, out of remorse for his actions, decided to keep her safe from the other Greeks and offer to bring her to his own home, after destroying hers? What if she didn't forgive him, for what his armies did to her family, and what he had done to her infant nephew?

But then, what if she realizes that Odysseus of Ithaca might just be the only person in the world who has ever believed in her?

Would Odysseus still be fated to the same dark path? Or would having Cassandra by his side allow the story to change?
