Chapter One (Jamie's Perspective)

Jamie Kwan seems like the model student---she's on the student council, has straight A's, and is sweet and helpful to all who meet her. However, she's not as perfect as she seems. To escape from her father's pressure and the ever-present grief after her mother's death, Jamie is a juvenile delinquent and part of a teenage gang that meets up after school to cause trouble. One night, when the prideful student council president discovers her secret, Jamie's life takes a turn. (For the better or for the worse, she's not yet sure.)
