"Chris, we can't do this," I whispered, trying to pull away, but his hands kept me close, his breath hot against my neck.

"Why not?" he murmured, his lips brushing my ear.

"You're married to my boss. This can't work." My voice faltered, guilt washing over me.

He leaned in closer, his breath sending shivers down my spine. "She doesn't have to know."
