"Please Em, don't make this harder than it already it," his tone was harsh, with a hint of softness with his eyes melting into mine. Oh god, what has he done? Who have I become...? "I need to know," I retort in a silent hiss, tears threatening to spill but I somehow managed to blink them back...he didn't have to know what images have taunted my mind for days on repeat, "Please?" He stalked over to me, taking my hands in his by surprised. I didn't flinch when his warmth of his body touched the coldness of mine...and still my eyes remained locked with his. I wasn't scared of him...anymore. I knew every single gruesome crime that he had committed in the past, but yet I still believed there is some humanity left in him and I wanted to help him. He then clasped his hands, entwining his fingers with mine. A moment passed, then another, then another. Moments became minutes, yet neither of us moved an inch. Comfort is what we found with each other, but was it enough for me to stay? As his eyes stayed linked with mine, I almost felt my breath being snatched away. He left me stunned in a daydream...or was I still in a nightmare? He is a ruthless criminal who doesn't obey any rules when he wants to be, but under all those cruel layers..he's just alone.
