Pieta Sorze has always felt like she doesn't fit in. She grew up in foster care with no attempted adoptions, lost every friend somehow, and has never met her real parents. She got into gaming at a young age to disassociate, and spends her days playing to make money. A company sends her a promotional game to try that changes her life forever.

She gets thrown into a new world with unimaginable things and new people to meet. An especially dark, grumpy man she meets challenges her everyday. She needs to learn how to live and grow in this new world, and needs to learn how to protect it. Follow her journey of discovery, love, and heartbreak.
