So naturally when one stumbled into a old relic shop and finds a beautiful golden helmet one picks it up. What one doesn't expect is to become the embodiment of fate because said helmet he picked up happened to be inhabited by one of the lords of order. So after a big debate of not giving up his entire freedom but willing to let nabu take over when needed or wanted to he was allowed to be a nerdy man who just has a ancient being within him. So of course it's just fate that he's kidnapped by a man in a trench coat and then dumped in a circle with other strangers. Or Apollo Berkshire is kidnapped by a man in a trench coat who claims he's from the future, while also being surrounded by hero's, assassins, and villains? One question lingered in his mind.
