Description
エクストラを超えて Yoichi Sato is a 27-year-old man who lives in Tokyo, Japan. He is a very average and mundane guy living a normal life. Well the thing is, it isn't as normal as it seems. Yoichi has come to realize that he lives in a set of worlds which he refers to as the "Manga Set". In the Manga Set, characters, events, and storylines from manga written in the real world take place. Each world within the Manga Set is governed by a specific genre of manga. These people all have different roles they are born with to play a part in a manga when their time comes. Yoichi lives in the world of romance. However, Yoichi discovers that he is not a main character or any type of character at all in any way. He is what he calls an "extra". These are people who simply exist in the Manga Set and aren't born to be in a specific Manga at all. They are very average, plain, and boring. Nothing special happens in their lives until they reach their "breaking point" where the Manga Set pulls them into a manga. However, Yoichi never wants to have a breaking point. Living a peaceful and average life is the ideal lifestyle for Yoichi so he plans to never fall into a manga. However, that all changes when he meets a protagonist named Hikari who starts to fall in love with him. Yoichi must do anything he can to avoid Hikari and never be pulled into a manga with her. If he fails, his peaceful life with turn into a chaotic mess.
