Description
A reimagining of the tragedy that Circe and Scylla held. This is a story written to explore the very different worlds and views Circe and Scylla lived. Before the spell, before the curse. Scylla is known to be a beautiful nymph, always dazzling, always surrounded, and always praised. She calculates her every movement and word. She observes people around her to learn. Circe, who was just always alone on the corner, plain and dull. She was often ignored, but was very observant of her surroundings. Their worldview and opinions differ in a lot of ways. They aren't enemies.. or at least not yet, but they're threats to each other's worldviews. Their eyes would meet sometimes, maybe it's curiosity or recognition, but their gaze is full of awareness. Though they wouldn't seek each other out, it's not worth it. It stayed that way for a while.. that is until a mortal man named Glaucus came into Circe's life. However, the same man was no longer a mortal when he came to Scylla's life, and the two nymphs' paths crossed once again.
