When Alex Mercer, the genetically enhanced protagonist of Prototype, is mysteriously transported to the USG Ishimura during a Necromorph outbreak, he must team up with engineer Isaac Clarke and officer Kendra Daniels to survive. As the Necromorph infection spreads, Alex discovers his own Blacklight virus may be connected to the outbreak. As secrets unfold, Alex faces the terrifying possibility that he was part of a sinister plan all along.
