Prologue

Wei Wuxian was the naughtiest student at Gusu University. That was till the youngest professor in their college joined during Wei Wuxian's third year of graduation. It started off with a dare which Wei Wuxian accepted. All he had to do was get the ice cold Lan Wangji flustered in the middle of class- the Lan Wangji, who was the nephew of Lan Qiren, the Principal, the Lan Wangji who had as much emotion as a piece of wood. When Wei Wuxian accosted Lan Wangji in the staff room, alone and unguarded, he did not realize what he was signing up for.
Lan Wangji had always been different. His was an alien among his friends because of his eidetic memory and homosexuality. He was an alien during his higher studies because of his distinctive good looks despite being the only Asian student in his class at MIT. He became an alien at Gusu University becoming a professor at twenty-six. So when a twenty year old Wei Wuxian tries to seduce Lan Wangji after school, in the staffroom, he snaps. He refuses the first time, threatens the second but the third time when Wei Wuxian approaches him drenched in the rain outside, Lan Wangji accepts Wei Wuxian as a lover- the catch- Wei Wuxian can't be with anyone else till he is done. Unbeknownst to the twenty-year-old, Lan Wangji never plans to be done with him.
