Chapter 1: A Matter of Life or Death

Forced to flee Berk in order to save her life and that of her unborn child, Valka is taken in by dragons, proving that what she had believed all along was true.

The only problem is that she made a promise. A promise to return with her child, the true heir of Berk, when they became of age. And that time had come, much to everyone's dismay. What awaited them on Berk was anyone's guess, but at least they had support that the Berkians would never see coming.
