Marnie Jones and Josh Nichols have been best friends since middle school. Inseparable, and maybe sort of outcasts amongst the student body. When Walter, Josh's dad, gets remarried to a nice, kind woman with a son Josh's age and a younger daughter things might just make their friendship more complicated.
Drake Parker is arrogant, lazy, and selfish. He doesn't do his homework and he spends all his time flirting with girls or playing his guitar. Drake practically walks through life with his eyes closed, and is essentially poisoning his new step-brother along the way. But Marnie makes it clear she doesn't like him from the start. Will she say the same the more they spend time together?
