Prologue: The Past and Present

After your parents' death, you and your older half-sister Maria find yourselves living with your grandfather at a hidden Gun base where his team is researching an unknown life form that crashed into Earth. However, although the base is voided of life just as you have become after witnessing your parents' deaths, you soon find another reason to smile again, thanks to your new brother Shadow. Alongside Shadow, you relearn what it means to live and smile with your sister's support.
