Not even a half decent lie. I could make up some shit about how sad and lonely I am and blah, blah, blah, but it wouldn't be very convincing. The best answer I can offer you is this: If I don't write this down, I fear I'll forget. I fear my memories will burn away to ash and be gone forever. Or worse, what I don't dare to consider: the memories were never quite there at all. Hell, looking up from this journal is proof enough for me that something's not right. Sorry. I'm rambling now. All events I am about to put down are true, or at least to me they are. The things that have happened, I don't regret. I can't. It would hurt too much. Besides, there's nothing I can do now. I hate the ending myself, but, I don't know. I think it started with an alright scene.
