Prologue (part one)

Humanity has done it.
The year is 2050 and humanity went through serious nuclear conflict leaving only a few privileged ones that had time to escape to Mars (colonized by humanity in 2030) and one protogen trying to survive the brutal nuclear winter on Earth.
