18 year old Everly Buckley has always felt like there was something wrong with her, she didn't understand what it was, all she knew was that she wished she was a boy, and the only person she had in her life that supported her was her sister Maddie, but Maddie had left with her boyfriend Doug and she really didn't want to burden her with something so silly, so she did what any reasonable 18 year old would do, she left as soon as she could now years later Evan Buckley joins the 118 and finally feels like he has a solid foundation to stand on only there's one problem, he never told Maddie he transitioned, so when she shows up out of the blue one day, well let's just say it gets a little complicated, speaking of complicated his recently growing feelings for a certain dad are more complicated than he'd ever imagined
