Introduction

Aurora Jade DeSoleil was the second woman drafted into the NHL. the first being her best friend and neighbor Amelie Black. The two were always inseparable growing up, and the two have a lot in common. One thing they do not share is their draft order. She doesn't like to brag, but Aurora was drafted first overall in the 2024 draft while Amelie went second overall in 2022. Both to rival teams, the Blackhawks and the Blues.
