Sloane Whitaker is a typical loner just trying to get through uni. Not necessarily unfriendly but also unwilling to make the first move, she compromises by observing the students around her. One day, her eyes land on Theo Stensen. Handsome, athletic, and seemingly popular, she notices he simply doesn't care for the world around him, and that intrigues her more than she anticipates. Even more surprising, she captures his attention too.

What could she have in common with a hockey player? More than either of them expects. Her curiosity gets the better of her, and eventually, their lives intertwine as they navigate university life and beyond.
