When 17 year old Raelynn Holden moved from a small country town in Georgia to 'figure eight' on the outer banks island she finds herself in a fairly tough spot trying to fit in. Raelynn and her twin brother as well as her older brother spend as much time together at first before both brothers make friends, leaving Raelynn to figure the island out herself.
