Prologue : A Golden Leaf In an Aching Heart

Tick, tock, the clock shows it's nearing midnight. As always, once the clock hits midnight, all of Penacony, including Aventurine, all suddenly lose their memories. Memory erasure every 24 hours is a part of their life now. They don't know why it happens or when it started to, and they slowly adapt to this reality by making journals everyday.

It happens to everyone, all except for him, Dr. Ratio.
