After her father's sudden death, baby Madeline is collected by the men who raided his ship and raised as their own. As she grows older, she is raised in a rich family with very little worries aside from the fact they give her one rule: "Never go toward the water". They do this so she does not find the dangerous outside the walls.
But she does meet someone she shouldn't have...Miguel Levy. A dangerous bandit and pirate who does not hesitate with any action he does. She must choose between an admiration for a man whom she can life a safe and honest life with, or an intense love that she can't seem to shake...All while battling bandits, murderers, doubt, love, passion, and life itself....
