Chapter One

16-year-old Y/N has been blind for as long as she can remember, struggling to make ends meet along with her mother and older brother. Her quiet life is turned upside-down, however, when her town is attacked and burned to the ground mere days after a stranger with the same affliction as her crosses her path. Now homeless, lost, and missing her family, Y/N and her new friend are forced to take on an impossible battle, and in the process find out more than they ever expected to about their pasts.
