A girl is still a girl, even as her teeth drip lead and her lips bleed red-from biting her tongue or saying too much, she can never tell. A girl is a girl because she can be nothing else. A dog is still a dog, even after his father has pulled out all his teeth. A dog is still a dog, even as he licks his bleeding gums and whimpers apologies to the very jaws that tear the fur from his flesh. A dog is a dog because he stays. In which the grandchildren of Oh Il-Nam are the reluctant heirs to his macabre games, and must go against everything they've been raised to believe, in order to dismantle the system they help uphold.
