Used to fending for herself, she finds a niche in life as a librarian, specializing in Greek mythology and relics. One fateful night, she discovers she's so much more. With the help of her mentor, she tries to make sense of her new life. She has to protect the civilians around her from these Greek demons AND avoid her own demise in the process. A powerful god has it out for all those like her and will stop at nothing until she's out of the picture. Hawk and Drina's paths cross which sets the prophecy in motion. Drina's past is more than what she knows. Hawk finds himself unable to carry out Stridor's command to remove her as a complication. Swords, and sparks, fly as they find out exactly what the fates have in mind.
