Description
Daisy Knoles has known Alex Sanchez since the fourth grade. He's been quiet, grumpy and completely uninterested in her. Unfortunately for Daisy she has also had a stubborn and persistent crush on him since the fourth grade. And to top things off she may have wrote a letter or two to him. Deciding to be bold, Daisy slips the letter anonymously into his locker on Valentine's Day and chaos ensues. Especially when Alex asks Daisy to help figure out who his secret admirer is. And ESPECIALLY when he asks her to 'date' him to do so. Which brings me back to the present. Where I'm still walking in silence next to a quiet Alex. "Do you remember the first day we met?" I ask him randomly, breaking the silence. He's not going to, it was years ago, I know that so why do I still feel disappointed he doesn't reply. Then he does. "You had daisies in your hair." He says quietly gesturing to my hair. "Yeah" i smile softly at him. "I still can't believe you punched that kid" I laugh out at him and he slides a hand down his face. "He was mean to you!" He says defensively and I fail at hiding my smile to his adorable reply And I try not to freak out that Alex Sanchez remembers I had daisies in my hair when we first met. Of course I fail miserably, a huge grin making its way onto my face. "What's got you all smiley?" He says a smile slowly working onto his face too. "Just thinking about how you wore daisies in your hair all day too." I laugh. "I would do it again!" He says seriously and I scoff. "Really? Wanna bet?" I smirk. He nods his head solemnly, "Absolutely." I grin, oh this poor poor boy. "Okay then, wear daisies in your hair on Monday." I say turning to face him as we stop walking. He leans in closer, his eyes never leaving me before saying, "You need everyone to know I'm yours that bad Daisy?" Cocking his head slightly and suddenly I am extremely flustered.
