The event that changed everything

We follow a family, with seven children, right after their mother has passed away. How will the children and their father cope with such a big loss? Can the children bring their beloved father back to reality? How did this family turn into what we saw at the beginning of the movie, 'the sound of music'?

Characters are from 'The sound of music', but can be read without having seen the movie.
