Chapter I

It has been a busy couple of weeks at the police station. Toph Beifong, their old chief, has retired at the beginning of the year at an unusual young age and a few month ago a human trafficking network within the city has been revealed and ever since then the police has been at the case.

Lins private life has been equally as messy as the situation at work. Beside her messy family situation her long time boyfriend Tenzin broke up with her.

In all this mess she meets this little firebender that has big dreams she wants to fulfill.
