Mitsuba and his mom are nothing but dirt broke peasants. Only living off of the coins him and his mom earn from hours of unfairly underpaid work.
But his life takes an unexpected twist when he meets Kou Minamoto- the soon to be king that's looking for suitors of marriage. Whether his life will change for the better or the worse, he would never be able to guess how his tale unfolds.
