Hypothesis

After discovering she is the secret child of ruthless vampire hunters, Amy and her soulmate Will are given one year to live a normal life before she has to surrender herself to the vicious and mysterious Hersker family who control and protect all vampires. Amy and Will come up with a plan to save the vampire race which doesn't involve the Herskers using her to eliminate the Agostini, who have emerged as the most dangerous hunters ever known. Executing their plan becomes a race against time before the Agostini launch a more sophisticated and dangerous approach to rid the world of vampires forever. When the Agostini attack, Will, Amy and the Herskers find themselves directly in the eye the storm in a desperate battle to save two of their own. After tragedy strikes, new bonds are forged to face the dangers ahead, and the Herskers' weakest member becomes their greatest protection. Amy has to decide whether to risk everything, or allow the Herkers to hide her from the world, but her own need to experience life and terrifying visions lead her to danger she seems unlikely to survive. Her love for Will weaves its way throughout the turmoil, but Amy has to decide what her relationship with the Herskers really is.
