not even a mouse...

Katherine Shalazar has only ever wanted life out of the confines of her home in Santoff Claussen. A life of adventure, of visiting new places, and meeting new people. Instead, she will have to settle for finishing school. At least, it seems so until her older brother arrives with the most unusual gift - a rather ugly doll.

Katherine finds the doll interesting, and there is something most certainly familiar about his eyes.

When she is attacked in the ballroom, she learns that he is not quite a doll, and he needs her help - to break the curse upon him and help find the missing prince.
