It's been a few months since Darren joined Larten Crepsley and the Cirque du Freak. With the struggle of adjusting to his new life finally over, he's enjoying himself and has gotten very close to Evra Von, the snake boy.

But Steve is still at large, and Darren's family are at risk of finding him... and attempting to take back their 'perfect' child.
