Chapter one - 'Blood suits you, honey.'

As a medic working for the super-spy SHIELD organization, Bridget Davis is just another girl the really important people go to to fix themselves. She doesn't mind not being known by many, not really. But then a handsome, slightly older agent stumbles into her office and before she knows it, everybody recognizes her as the young girlfriend of nobody else but Brock Rumlow. She finds she doesn't mind being well-known, either.
That is until her new acquaintances accidentally drag her into a shady business she wants to be no part of. Now Bridget must decide, which heartbreak to choose: leaving the man she loves or staying and watching him slowly turn into a monster?
