Chapter 1

When Elias decided to hire Jon as an archivist, he thought it'd be a cake walk. Get rid of Gertrude, hire an oblivious archivist, mark him with the fears, and enjoy the results of the watcher's crown. Easy Peasy. What he didn't expect is for Jon to already know about the entities when he hires him, or for him to have his own plans. Can he get everything back on track, or will the secrets of his new archivists ruin his plans.

"-that's the general gist of your duties. Any questions?" Elias asked

Jon stayed silent for a moment, he's eyes shifting to the dark corners around the room. Was he looking for something?

"I have a couple actually." He answered, "First, are there any spiders listening?"
