The only thing I can manage to muster to you is that those creatures with the black goo are known as ghouls. They plague Hoenn, trying to destroy it. They are mean, ruthless, and don't care who they kill- they just kill. Usually giving out slow and agonizing deaths." Athena, a simple fire type who lived a not so simple life, was a first-hand witness to an apocalypse of 'ghoul' pokémon. Ghouls were vicious, and did everything they could to rid the world of the impure- even if it meant harming those they cared about. With disaster inching toward the tropical region of Hoenn, Athena had to find a way to do what was right, all while adapting to the harsh reality of the wild.
