There's a thing about portals. We're not talking about nether portals or end portals. We're talking about rifts. Portals to other worlds. There's a certain feeling that they give off. Like a tug in your stomach, the slight feeling that there's something just not quite right about the place. But you can never be sure until the portal appears. And you can't be certain until something comes out of it. Or, in this case, someone. It started with a small crack in the wall but grew to be a far larger problem than anyone could imagine.
