Prologue

Dazed but alive, Thomas Sullivan crawls from the wreckage of a car crash only to realize that his children-eleven-year-old James and six-year-old Emma-are missing. Panic sets in as darkness falls around him. He searches desperately for them amidst the shallow groans echoing through the fog-laden road when he stumbles upon an eerie town sign: "Welcome to Silent Hill."
