Prologue

Magic was a new, and rare concept, throughout the massive island of Cortham, and not many knew how to address it properly, including (though he would never admit it) the King himself. Yet people all throughout the island knew this: everyone with magic possessed abilities different from any before them. Always new. Always unique.
