Description
Calliope has always brushed off her health issues, convincing herself that things could be worse. But after a doctor's visit shakes her out of denial, she decides to take control of her life. That's how she ends up at the Summer Splash Swim Program in her hometown, where everyone knows everyone, including Nash Brooks, the town's golden boy and freshly crowned Olympic medalist. Nash is back for the summer, helping his uncle with swim lessons, and Calliope's first day in the pool is a disaster: a panic attack, a whistle blast, and Nash dragging her out of the water in front of everyone like a flailing fish.
