Character Sketch

This wasn't how her life was supposed to end. She had dreams, so many dreams-of building a life on her own terms, of making her parents proud. Her thoughts turned to her family. Would they ever know what had happened to her? Would they spend the rest of their lives wondering how their daughter disappeared, never knowing she died alone in the darkness?

She sobbed quietly, her tears soaking the cold floor beneath her. "Why?" she whispered to herself. "Why is this happening to me? I didn't do anything... I was just trying to help..."
