Living a large and loving life, Po and Lin realize that they had a lot to learn if they're going to fulfill from Shifu. After reuniting with Po's long-lost father named Li Shan and Lin's long-lost mother named Jun, Po and Lin must transition from students to teachers to train a group of pandas and snow leopards to become kung fu fighters.

Together with their brethren, Po and Lin must take down Kai, an evil supernatural warrior who becomes stronger with each battle by using chi.
