As the sun rose, he spoke to the empty sea, his voice breaking. "Kaibigan..." he whispered, his heart shattering with the word. He had lost his closest friend, his kaibigan, and along with her, the dream he'd held onto for so long. Kaibigan... ka-ibigan...
