For my dearest Tessa,

I have never been good with words, in speaking or in writing (that has always been Will's expertise). My music has always been where I can show you how I feel. But I know how much you love words, so I have begun to practice. I have only done simple poetry so far, but I hope you will still enjoy it all the same.
