Aria didn't expect her hero to come tumbling down the dirty staircase with a spiteful curse as a visual support cane followed closely behind. She didn't expect her recognition of her soulmate to come not through eye-contact, but through the embracing smell of pine and bark. She certainly didn't expect to watch a blind werewolf play around with experienced hunters as if he was a teenager amused by a firecracker.
