When the Duttons settled in Montana, almost 7 generations ago, they didn't settle alone. An immigrant family, the Calderon's, settled with them, providing money and protection for one thing. Invisibility, a place to hide from their roots.

They changed their name, blending in with the American people and its culture until they were regarded as normal.

Now, all those years later, Damon Calderon Mitchell finds himself buried under the dirt of the graves of both the Dutton's and the Calderon's. United in grief, he will do anything to protect the Yellowstone and the lives on it.
